In order to practice President Xi Jinping’s important instructions on poverty alleviation, the School of Management and Economics of Beijing Institute of Technology organized the party and government leading bodies, as well as some alumni representatives to investigate in Fangshan County on September 19, 2018. Yan Binsheng, vice secretary of Communist Party of Fangshan County Committee, and Luo Xuemei, the County Party Standing Committee member and Minister of Propaganda, accompanied the investigation.
Through the early understanding, the School of Management and Economics decided to donate a “healthy hut” to Fangshan County to meet the needs of local people’s daily medical care and health care.
During the investigation, the School of Management and Economics also went to the Beiwudang Scenic Area Visitor Service Center, ZhengdeJiahua Fashion Company, County E-commerce Service Center, and Pangquan Heavy Machinery Processing Co., Ltd. to visit and investigate the local tourism industry development, e-commerce promotion, and machinery manufacturing industry.
