2019年11月8日下午，應(yīng)管理與經(jīng)濟學(xué)院管理工程系邀請，寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)Alain Chong教授在主樓317會議室做了題為‘Tracing the Evolution of Blockchain-Based Banknote Supply Chain: A Path Dependency Perspective’的學(xué)術(shù)報告。報告會由管理工程系張永勛副教授主持，管理工程系老師、部分博士生及碩士生參加了研討會。
在今天報告的開始，Alain Chong教授先為我們介紹了寧波諾丁漢大學(xué)及其專業(yè)設(shè)置。之后，Alain Chong教授介紹了一篇關(guān)于從路徑依賴角度以區(qū)塊鏈為基礎(chǔ)的紙幣供應(yīng)鏈生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的案例研究。紙幣供應(yīng)鏈?zhǔn)乾F(xiàn)代金融體系不可或缺的組成部分，需要確保流通中的紙幣供應(yīng)充足，以滿足市場需求。然而，傳統(tǒng)的紙幣供應(yīng)鏈模式——由一個國家的中央銀行權(quán)力機構(gòu)這一主導(dǎo)角色集中管理——存在操作效率問題。區(qū)塊鏈作為一種分布式技術(shù)基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施的出現(xiàn)可能會打亂紙幣供應(yīng)鏈的配置方式。該研究通過深入的案例研究探索生態(tài)系統(tǒng)行為者的行為和選擇的路徑形成，從而為政府和管理者面臨的挑戰(zhàn)提供建議。

附：Alain Chong教授簡介
Alain Yee Loong Chong is a Professor in Information Systems and Dean of Graduate School at University of Nottingham Ningbo China. He obtained his PhDs from University of Nottingham and Multimedia University Malaysia and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His current research interests include social media analytics, digital transformations and mobile computing. His work has appeared in Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Information & Management, Decision Support Systems, European Journal of Operations Research, Transportations Research Part B: Methodological, Annals of Operations Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management and Information Systems Frontier, among others. He now serves as the Co-Editor of Industrial Management & Data Systems, Senior Editor of Decision Support Systems and Associate Editor of Information & Management.
